I usually like to point out right about now that I didnt “give up” on anything – let alone on acting – acting remains a true passion for me and I like to think I keep a keen eye on the film industry – I would phrase it more by saying that the number of parts open to me now is perhaps a *little* narrower..
I’m also a big believer that Muslims need to become much more active in the Media and in the Arts – I hope in the future we’ll see more Muslim TV presenters, actors, artists, comedians – contributing to enriching public discourse and popular culture through our ethical perspective…
